Calculator data stays on your device

Dimensions, areas, coverage, ratios, rates, hours, prices, panels, packages, notes, and quote comparisons stay on your device while you use a calculator. Wrap & Paint Lab does not send them away to perform the calculation, and you do not need an account.

Saved unit choice and shared links

The site remembers only whether you prefer metric or US customary units, using storage in your browser. If you choose Copy share link, selected calculator inputs are added to the web address. Notes and quote comparisons are not included. Anyone with the link can read the included values, so review it before sharing.

Analytics, advertising, and cookies

Wrap & Paint Lab uses Plausible, served by analytics.kyrylo.org, to count page visits and understand which pages are useful. Advertising remains disabled, and the site does not load advertisements or leave empty advertising spaces.

Plausible receives the page address without the part that may contain shared calculator inputs. It does not track form submissions, downloads, or links you open. Calculator measurements, rates, costs, ratios, panels, package choices, notes, and quote comparisons are not sent to Plausible. The site does not set an analytics cookie.

After a calculator produces its first successful result during a visit, the site sends Telesink a short notice that the calculator was used. The notice contains the calculator name, method version, page name, time, and a random event number used to prevent duplicates. It does not contain calculator inputs, results, quotes, shared-link values, the previous page, or a long-term visitor or visit identifier. Recalculating, changing units, sharing, and printing send nothing more.

If site code unexpectedly fails, Telebugs receives an error report so the problem can be investigated. The report contains the error type, a short error message, where in the site code the failure occurred, the site version, a clean page name, and the calculator name when relevant. It may also include basic browser and device details. It does not contain calculator inputs, results, quotes, shared-link values, the previous page, activity history, or a visitor identity. Normal field warnings are not reported. The site does not record visits or measure performance through Telebugs.

Like any website, our hosting, measurement, and error-reporting providers may receive basic network information such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, time, and whether the request succeeded. They may use it to deliver the site, measure traffic and calculator use, investigate failures, protect the service, and keep operational records. Access and retention should be limited.

What happens while you calculate

Opening a page sends the normal website request described above. Changing dimensions, rates, ratios, panels, package choices, or quote totals does not send those values away. The calculation happens on your device.

Requests for pages, images, styles, scripts, and service checks may appear in operational records. The site does not use those records to build advertising profiles or sell calculator-use data.

Your controls

You can remove the saved unit preference through your browser settings. Resetting a calculator clears the values entered in its form. Removing everything after the ? in a shared calculator link removes the included calculator values from that link.

Printing or copying a link creates information outside the site’s control. Review printed worksheets and shared links before distributing them. Browser history, clipboard history, messaging services, printers, and recipients may retain copies according to their own settings and policies.

If the site later adds advertising, collects more usage information, expands error reports, creates accounts, or processes calculations away from your device, this policy must be updated before those changes are enabled.
