Calculator data stays on your device

Dimensions, areas, coverage, ratios, rates, hours, prices, panels, packages, notes, and quote comparisons are processed in your browser. Wrap & Paint Lab has no calculation API, account database, or form that receives those values.

Local storage and shared URLs

The site stores only your metric or US customary unit preference in browser local storage. If you choose Copy share link, selected calculator inputs are encoded in the URL after v=1. Notes and quote comparisons are excluded. Anyone who receives that URL can read its included values, so review it before sharing.

Analytics, advertising, and cookies

Analytics, consent software, and advertising are disabled. The production site emits no analytics script, ad request, tracking pixel, or empty ad slot. The site does not set a cookie.

Infrastructure providers may process ordinary request information such as IP address, time, requested path, response status, and user agent for delivery, security, and operational logs. Retention and access should be minimized by the deployment owner.

What the server receives

Loading a public page necessarily sends the requested path and ordinary network metadata to the hosting infrastructure. Calculator arithmetic does not add a separate request. Changing dimensions, rates, ratios, panels, package options, or quote totals happens locally after the page loads.

The health endpoint, static assets, and HTML pages may appear in operational logs. The site does not combine those requests into an advertising profile or sell calculator-use data.

Your controls

You can clear the saved unit preference through browser storage controls. Resetting a calculator clears its entered form state. Removing the query string from a shared calculator URL removes the encoded share state from that URL.

Printing or copying a link creates information outside the site’s control. Review printed worksheets and shared URLs before distributing them. Browser history, clipboard history, messaging services, printers, and recipients may retain copies according to their own settings and policies.

If analytics, advertising, accounts, or server-side calculation are proposed later, this policy and the technical privacy audit must be updated before those features are enabled.
