Wrap & Paint Lab
Editorial Policy
Read the Wrap & Paint Lab policy for original content, calculator assumptions, corrections, review dates, and conflicts of interest.
Useful pages without repetition
Each page answers a distinct planning question. We avoid repetitive pages that say the same thing with minor wording, vehicle, brand, or location changes. Our guides are based on the calculators’ published methods and stated limits, not copied summaries of other sites.
Sources and claims
Manufacturer technical data, local tax rules, labor standards, and prices vary. We do not publish an unsourced value as a market fact. Example numbers are clearly labeled, editable, and explained through worked arithmetic. We do not present examples as market averages, manufacturer data, professional endorsements, or customer results.
Review responsibilities
The editorial team checks clarity, consistency, links, worked examples, and stated limitations. Formula review checks arithmetic, units, unusual values, and whether warnings explain what a result leaves out. An example that could be mistaken for material or labor advice requires review by a knowledgeable practitioner. Accessibility is checked with both testing tools and hands-on use.
“Last reviewed” means the team checked the page against the current formula and policy. It does not mean an outside professional approved a specific job.
Corrections
Send a concise description and repeatable example to [email protected]. A change to the meaning of a formula receives a new method version. Clear wording or link defects may be corrected without changing the version.
Commercial independence
Plausible helps us count page visits without receiving calculator values. Telesink tells us when a calculator first produces a successful result during a visit, without sending the values or result. Telebugs reports unexpected site failures without receiving calculator values, results, shared-link values, activity history, or a visitor identity. Advertising remains disabled. There are no affiliate links, paid placements, lead sales, product rankings, or installer listings. Any future commercial feature requires a visible policy and privacy update before it is enabled.
